Deepika Padukone is a renowned Indian film actress and producer, considered one of the highest-paid actresses in India. She was born on January 5, 1986, in Copenhagen, Denmark, but was raised in Bangalore, India. Her father, Prakash Padukone, is a former internationally acclaimed badminton player.
Deepika began her career as a model before making her acting debut in the 2006 Kannada film “Aishwarya.” She gained wide recognition for her first Hindi film “Om Shanti Om” in 2007, opposite Shah Rukh Khan, earning her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. Since then, she has delivered numerous successful performances in Bollywood.
