Grown ups

Grown Ups is a 2010 American comedy film directed by Dennis Dugan and written by Adam Sandler, who also stars in the film. The movie follows a group of childhood friends who reunite after their basketball coach passes away.

The main character is Lenny Feder, a successful Hollywood agent who is married to a fashion designer and has three children. Lenny’s friends include Eric Lamonsoff, a stay-at-home dad and former high school basketball star; Kurt McKenzie, a wealthy financial advisor; Marcus Higgins, a slacker and owner of a waterbed store; and Rob Hilliard, a writer and house husband.

As the group reunites, they reminisce about their childhood and the memories they shared with their coach. Lenny invites his friends and their families to stay at his summer home in the fictional town of Cheverly, Massachusetts, for the Fourth of July holiday.

While at the summer home, the group competes in various challenges and activities, including a kayak race and a game of pickup basketball against a group of arrogant young men. Lenny and his friends also confront various personal issues, such as Lenny’s fear of water and Kurt’s struggle to connect with his children.

Throughout the course of the movie, the group learns to appreciate the value of friendship and the importance of spending quality time with loved ones. The movie ends with the group enjoying a barbecue and fireworks display at Lenny’s summer home.
