Unfortunately, for the actor, this odd piece of equipment probably left him scarred when he had to wear it during a steamy scene with the singer from the Bronx while filming The Boy Next Door.
Ryan Guzman had the fortune of living out every teenage boy’s dream by getting intimate with J.Lo, but he admitted that the experience wasn’t as enjoyable as one might imagine.

To prepare for his role as the stalker-like teen Noah Sandborn, Guzman researched ‘different serial killers’ to master the complex character. However, nothing could prepare him for baring it all on set, which he found ‘extremely awkward.’
Not only did Guzman have to deal with the nerves of being nude in front of the entire crew, including Lopez, but he also had to figure out how to use a ‘d**k tie’ to avoid any embarrassing mishaps.
He described the process as mechanical, strapping up his private parts tightly to restrict blood flow and prevent any unexpected excitement.
Speaking about the peculiar device to Cosmopolitan after the film’s release, Guzman explained it as an elastic thing attached to a sock, tightened to restrict blood flow and keep everything in place during the scene.
He admitted envy towards Lopez, who had protective gear from head to toe, ensuring a professional atmosphere even during intimate moments.
In hindsight, discovering the existence of such gadgets was quite a surprise for Guzman, who joked about wishing there were similar safeguards for men, as all he got was a sock.
