Dancewicz began her acting career in 1984 with a role in the film “Cinema Love”. She gained widespread recognition with her performance in the film “Kingsajz” (1988), directed by Juliusz Machulski, in which she played the lead role of Marta. The film was a box-office success and became a cult classic in Poland.
In 1991, Dancewicz starred in the film “Europa Europa”, directed by Agnieszka Holland, which was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. She also appeared in several other films, including “Zabić na końcu” (1993) and “Przypadek Pekosińskiego” (1993).
