From a young age, Priyanka showed promise both academically and in extracurricular activities. She attended schools in several cities due to her family’s relocations, excelling in her studies and participating in various competitions. Priyanka’s interest in the world of beauty pageants emerged during her teenage years. In 2000, at the age of 18, she entered the Femina Miss India contest, where she finished second. However, her journey to fame accelerated when she went on to win the Miss World title later that year, representing India on the global stage.
