Asin Thottumkal, popularly known as Asin, is an Indian actress and former model. She was born on October 26, 1985, in Kochi, Kerala, India. Asin hails from a Syro-Malabar Catholic family and was raised in a multicultural environment. She completed her education from Naval Public School in Kochi and later pursued a degree in English Literature from St. Teresa’s College.
